Why Choose A. O. Kay?
Seamless Gutters vs Sectioned Gutters
Seamless gutters are constructed as a single, continuous piece of aluminum. Measurements from your house are taken on-sight and a custom gutter is fitted. Sectioned gutters require sealing where two pieces are connected. This introduces a higher likelihood of leaks.
Aluminum Gutters Vs Vinyl Gutters
Vinyl gutters simply can not stand up to the winter weather conditions of the Northeast. Lake effect snow is heavy. The weight of the snow causes the vinyl to rip where the screws hold them attached. A. O. Kay gutters uses .031 gauge aluminum and industry leading Raytech Gutter Hangers with built in screw. These gutters are made to last.

What Do You Really NEED?
5” K-style seamless gutters are the industry standard for residential homes. The standard aluminum thickness is .027 gauge. 6″ commercial gutters are available for residential shingled homes, but are unnecessary for roofs under 5,500 sq. ft.
Metal roofs typically require 6″ commercial sized gutters. Water runs much faster down a metal roof compared to shingled roofs. The result is that the water can overshoot the gutters in heavy rain storms.
A.O. Kay Seamless Gutters uses .031 gauge aluminum as a standard. The additional thickness adds rigidity to the structure and helps promote longer life.
One gutter downspout is typically needed every 50’ of gutter.
